Reading Encouragement

Students in our class have come up with many exciting ways to interest students in voluntary reading. I've given contact info for some of the ideas that may require some more explanation :-)

Some great ideas! Could use a few more technology related ideas - student book trailer contest?

Wow! That is quite a list. There some ideas I wish I had thought of. I plan to borrow many of these.

Student book trailers are on the list for next year as projects for the 6th grade language arts classes. It is great to have a group of teachers who are so receptive to these "hooks" for literature extension activites. I am thrilled.
